I have my 3.55 spoofed to 3.70 and can data transfer to my 3.70 ofw is there anyway to bypass 1.12 in order to use 1.11 patches? Or am I screwed since my ofw is updated to 3.70? Not sure if this is in the right section and yes I've been searching :/

Data transfer a 1.11 patch over to your OFW 3.70 PS3, and put on the patch blocker to block it from trying to update the MW2 patch to 1.12. :y:
EDIT: Keep in mind, once you use the patch blocker, you're placed on a Proxy Server. You can ONLY play with other people who are using the patch blocker.

yeah there is it's called elite mossy's patch blocker but you need a pc though You must login or register to view this content. you just activate it on your pc "start patching" then you change your ps3's network connections anything you have wireless or wired and skip everything else but USE PROXY and type in the IP Address you got in the patch blocker and you should be good just remember if you want people to be able to join you, remove the default_mp.self file before you data transfer

That's it? So jus like the 1.12 patches only use mossy's blocker. I tried before I had the cfw ps and it wouldn't let me. I'm gonna try it

Go into the jailbroken system, and I use Comgenie's. Find the original 1.11 patch, Google will help you with that, Delete all of your MW2 game saves. You don't need it. It's over a year old. :y: Install the 1.11 under the Install PKG files, and then go into Comegenie's. You'll see default_mp.self. Rename that file to default_mp.self.bak
Then you'll see the patch_mp.ff. You know what to do with that. Data transfer over, to your 3.70 system. I also reccomend deleting the game svaes on your 3.70 system too. You're good to go. Turn on the patch blocker, go into the PS3 network settings, and WOO-LAH! =D I might make a tutorial on how to do this. If my work slows down, I'll create a tutorial. :y:

So I found some 1.11.pkgs on here but I couldn't figure out where to install them. I'm using multiman. Other than that I think I got this thanks to you!

The 1.11 you download will be in a .PKG
That means when you place it on ROOT of your flash drive (the base of the flash) stick your flash drive into the USB port on your PS3, scroll to the Install Package Files located on your PS3 XMB homescreen, the place where you installed Multiman, and find the MW2 1.11 patch in there, and install. =D Good luck, and happy hosting.
