im wondering is patch making considered reverse engineering or what is it called..
whats the specific name for coding
patches and stuff...
does it even have a name????

Creating a patch is nothing close to reverse engineering. What you are doing is modifying code, adding code, or removing code to allow the game to run what you tell it to. Patch making is just coding. 1.12 making is barely even coding. 1.11 was C++ GSC scripting, which is useful in many other situations. I can't really add much more to this since you didn't ask a very specific question. But if you want to learn about reverse engineering, look up what Graf_Chokolo was doing with the PS3's HV.

ohh I want more of the arch modifying but thanks for the advice I'll check him out thnks
