There's no cfw for 3.72 because nobody released it yet, if they found it... And you can do these mods by connecting to your PC using an ftp server, which at the moment you need a ps3 that is on firmware 3.55 or lower.

yes i know the whole 3.55 cfw but there are people on psn with 3.72 running modded lobbies with super models and super jump so i wondering how they do it. they are not bypassing so they cant have cfw

They transfer their data from their 3.55 CFW PS3 to their online 3.72 PS3... So they can still host, online.
