    use the setPerk console cmd to activate all child perks displayed below:
set player name after setPerk
set multiple names for friends or cohost working 100%


Example of how to correctly write this:
Note there is no variable when setting the perk:
    
setPerk xChronicModz specialty_exposeenemy


cmd:
    setPerk is a console command not a dvar

Note also: there are no variables... The perk is setting itself and it already has a set number that cant be modified "unless" it has a child perk for instance

I released the base perks and DVARs. I didn't plan on making a n00b-tut on how to do it.

nope already tested and is not possible :( that would be awesome to have the specilty_endgame nuke FTW Happy lol most of them dont work as its setting perks not killstreaks...

We wanted to give people a look at what we have been working on. We didn't want to release every single perk for the leachers out there. People who work hard don't just go out there and explain it word for word. Whenever ITheFallenI released the script modding tutorial he didn't go in depth and release every single string. He released 2, and let them find the rest. That's what we did. There's too many leachers to release every perk.

i totally agree with you on the leeching side.. but then he found it so it was his "right" to release what and how much detail is it not.. personally you shouldnt have let this out /faceplam OR if you wanted to release something just leave a hint like "it has something to do with these specilty_blah blah blah" that is all...

Damn. I just remember the scr_giveperk could give anything... Btw does the setPerk work as non host aswell? And does the hidden perks work as non host too?

It's host only, as it works through console commands.

He was not the founder of the code. Nobody has a right to a code. It's byte's (written text characters.) I and Campbell had a talk a few mins ago, and we agreed that HE was the first one to PROVE that they WORK. He was NOT the first to know about the codes. I have knew about the hidden perks for a LONG time now, but I didn't think it was possible to set them in the game. He proved my theory wrong, and therfor I brought back my theory and reconsidered it, and I, Star Child, and DKCY_Plum-St505, were the first to "release" the code to the public.

None of you found out about the hidden perks first... Pc modders did. If you google mw2 hidden perks then something posted about 2 mounts ago came up... You guys just found out of the setPerk.
