Before i ask, i appologize for me being a total noob at this but we have to start somewhere.

I managed to buy a jailbroken ps3 with CFW 3.55

i know how to transfer the files from pc to ps3 using a usb stick via Comgenie's Awesome File Manager, so that part is covered, also i know how to transfer the files to my OFW 3.72 online ps3 via transfer cable

Question 1: I want to know which patch by nextgenupdate allows the constant UAV and aim assist, where can i download it from, if someone can direct me to a legit link.

Question 2: Where and how should i use patch blocker

Question 3: Once the patch is on my OFW ps3, how do i start an infection lobby for constant UAV and Aim Assist

Question 4: Can i choose to infect with only constant UAV or i am forced to infect with both the aim assist and the UAV

Again i am so sorry for being a complete novice on this

Answer 1: You must login or register to view this content. --- This is the Modified Patches Section u can find all released Patches there (Almost any Patch has constant uav and aim assist these days...)

Answer 2: You dont have to use a Patch blocker just install the 1.12 Update, delete the "default_mp.self" file and put a 1.11 patch_mp.ff on it. Thats all now you are Bypassed and on 1.11 Servers!

Answer 3: Open the menu (probably with UP on the dpad, depends on what patch u are using) and find the Infection Menu/Infectable Maps

Answer 4: Again depends on what patch u use. Some patches has only UAV infection and other has both.

in FTP server or a file manager go there:
devhdd0 ==> game ==> bles00683 ==> usrdir

there is the file default_mp.self , just delete it.

Then replace the patch_mp.ff with the Modified 1.11 Patch u want to use. You can find 1.11 Modified Patches in the Section i linked u in the post above, or use google,youtube, etc.

i tried, but there is no BLUS directory, the ps3 has never had MW2 in it.

SHould i install the game? how can i do that ?

You need to install game first . Then go to you bles or blus on ftp ps3 and delete patch_mp.ff , and put the modded patch .

again excuse my stupidity, how do i install it?

yh put in the disc and start mw2, make sure u are connected with the internet...

just go to the modified patches sections and get a new one like flamehd's krystal v8 or efthy's v9 - both have it in there
