I have downloaded the most recent Efys patch version 9 to my jail broken ps3 and then data transfered to ps3 with latest firware I then go online however I cannot join my friends games an they cannot join me I can only join and be joined by people using a patch blocker.

I have had mentioned in a previouse thread to locate and remove the default_mp.self file once I have done this and then data transfer to my ps3 with latest firmware will this fix the above problem and allow people whom have stock standard ps3 with no bypass or patch blocker be able to join my games??...

How can I run the modded patch (currently efy's patch) and have my friend join and join them that do not use a patch blocker? I am sure this can be done someohow as I have a mate whom runs hacked lobbies and I can join him on my 3rd ps3 that has no mods or patch blocker what so ever.

Okay on ma jail broken ps3 I updated the mw2 to patch version 1.2 I then used ftp and replaced the patch file with the new patch file (efy's patch) I then deleted the default_mp.self then I did data transfer to my non jail broken ps3 running firmware 3.7 and go online tried to invite friend no luck he could not connect tried to join his game could not connect what the hell is there anything I have missed??? i need to be able to play with my friends whom do not have a patch blocker or bypass set up.

Dude Im Trying To Find The Jailbreaks For 3.72 if you can give the link or file attached and to do the mod without patch blocked people you need to search it on the web sorry i need 3.72 jb so i can see

Sorry to give you the bad news there is NO jail break for 3.72 and you cannot downgrade the best thing you can do is have a mate that has a already jail broken ps3 then he can do a data transfer and put his patches on your ps3 (but he has to be physically at your place with the jailbroken ps3 to do the data transfer) so no jail break for 3.72

The problem is obvious. Don't delete the default_mp.self
