so far i deleted the mw2 patch on my 3.55 ps3, put a 1.11.pkg and replaced the original 1.11 patch with a modded version.
after that i data transferred it to my 3.72 and bypassed. couldn't find anyone
am i supposed to bypass or am i supposed to do something else before the transfer

after you put the 1.11 patch on and then replace the patch_mp.ff, you must also delete the default_mp.self so that the game thinks you are on v1.00 like everyone else who is bypassing.

alright im doing that now. is this the same as bypassing because i tried bypassing and i couldn't find no one. is that because there is no one bypassing or i had to delete the default_mp.self to find people?

you have to delete it so that other bypassers can join you, but you still need to bypass so you can play online yourself without updating.
