this is really simple and i honestly dont know why i have to tell you guys this

Hosting on 1.13 with a 1.12 patch
first go here:

install the pkg to your ps3

2nd get a 1.12 patch of your choice and put it on a usb

3rd run your favorite file manager and locate devhdd0/game/(YOUR MW2 REGION)/usdir

4th replace the patch_mp.ff in usdir with the one on your usb

there you go!

Now the way people are making it look like there on 1.13 with a 1.11 patch is simple. Do every thing above and instead of a 1.12 patch put a 1.11 patch, BUT when your in usdir you must delete the default_mp.self.
so when you transfer you look like your playing on 1.13 with a 1.11 patch but your really just playing on bypass nothing more nothing less!


So now that every thing is done you people gotta stop making all these post on how to host on 1.13. We all got it the first time when xFlamehd_(sry if spelled wrong) made his first post

i <3 this but quick question will i be able to bypass with MW2 on a 1.13 (1.11) allowing me not to use patch blocker and stuff like that. I dont mind bypass has long has i dont need to turn on my pc everytime i wana play.

You will never need patch blocker if you do this

Ok heres a simple rule of thumb. You can use ANY "Patch" version with any update version. All the patch is, is updated content. The security fixes are in the EBOOT/SELF. So I can use a 1.13 FF on 1.11 all I want. There no issue ...
