yes you can data transfer to any firmware such as 4.00 but you cannot data transfer back to your jailbroken ps3 because it will not let you. you would have to by a normal ps3 which is on 3.41,3.55 or 3.56 firmware because it will only work on these firmwares.

3.56 ? Whats there the sence?
You can´t jailbreak a PS3 > 3.55 exept with a chip; e.g. e3-flasher.
If you install a spoofer you can also data transfer back

Luckly I just bought very old fatboy running on 1st firmware for like $150 and like 6 games the guy wanted it sold he didnt know what he had lol took it home and jailbreak it, works nice
