(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently got a message from somebody asking for help on how to test 1.13 patches on a 3.55 jb ps3, so I thought I would make a tutorial for everyone. I would recommend method 2.

patch test method:
1st - delete the mw2 1.13 update
2nd - get the 1.12 update pkg for your region and place on your usb
3rd - plug your usb into your ps3 then go onto comegines awesome file manager
4th - navigate on the left to HDD0 -> game -> [your mw2 bles/blus region here, mine is BLES00683] -> USRDIR
5th - navigate on the right to your USB
6th - copy your patch from your usb to the USDIR folder
7th - quit comegines awesome file manager
8th - start mw2
note - when you know your patch works, update to 1.13 and copy steps 3-7 then data transfer to your non jb ps3

how to host 1.11 patches on 1.13 (people have to bypass to join you):
1st - open up comegines awesome file manager
2nd - navigate to HDD0 -> game -> [your mw2 bles/blus region here, mine is BLES00683] -> USRDIR
3rd - delete default_mp.self
4th - change the patch_mp.ff with a modded one
5th - go off comegines awesome file manager
6th - do data transfer with your 4.0 ps3
