Xboxic reports: The Leipzig Games Convention is moving onwards and upwards with a new name this year: GamesCon. The last time Infinity Ward attended the event was way back in 2007 shortly before the release of 'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare'. Xboxic was at the event first hand to play the game before release and witness the press conference which included a Beta announcement. It seems likely through leaked information handed to Xboxic yesterday that Infinity Ward are planning a Déjà Vu moment and will announce details of the upcoming 'Modern Warfare 2 Beta' at this years GamesCon event in Germany.

ok guys it seems the beta is gonna come out september 10th.

This is a rumor but we will find out at gamescon.

yh its probably real but 4 only xbox caz they did that 4 WaW so infinity ward r like "lets release a beta 4 mw2" so yh i believ this is real probably same like WaW go up to like a certain level then it stops

i dont hope there will b a beta cuz then all n00bs start recording glitches n IW can patch them instantly if the game is out...
