(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all,

*First thread so please be gentle*

Just got this message from a goon on PSN. Why do people do this? what could they possibly gain from starting a chain mail and why are people stupid enough to pass it on? I know it's an age old question but I just want to know if there are any benefits at all in starting this crap? aside from this example where Chaseman25 is obviously getting some exposure.

"Atention. The well know chaseman25 V4 challenge lobby patch is now going public, bringing challenge lobbies to everybody for free ! Send this message with the attachment to all the people on your met and friends list then play modern warfare 2 and make a splitsreen account named.
GODLYMOD. an error sreen will come up if you are doing it right. from there, retry then once the account saves host a private match. You will now have a challenge lobby. Good Luck !"

And I did search for this and couldn't see it anywhere but if it already exists feel free to close the thread.

I know there's loads of spam messages, but why the **** do people feel the need to start them? There has to be a reason that someone would waste 10 minutes of their life to start one?

It makes them feel cool, but in my eyes it makes them a retard.

Although, my friend started a funny chain letter back in W@W times that I enjoyed. One part referenced "putting my juggernaut between your mom's bouncing betties"

If they're funny I wouldn't mind, but the ****s who start these should be shot.

I seriously think that it is a, not sure what the word is that describes it, but to see if they can get that MSG around that much that someone sends it to them. Because I've gotten many of them with people saying that fi you send a MSG to all your friends & Players Me you will get a $50 PSN Card.
