Also after i get that, how would i go into transferring the modded patches from 3.55 to the newest OFW ps3 and will it work that way? If you have a plan that i can follow on hosting modded patched lobbies on mw2, that will be great. I have also heard of some problems with data transfer and patches not working on 1.13 so if you have some ideas about that let me know man. I dont have a system for sale, but id try craigslist (before it gets taken down by SOPA) , or ebay (be carful many on ebay may be ylod fixes), or a local pawnshop or gamestop (ask them to check the fw for you if they're nice). Things Needed_
1)A ps3 on ofw 4.00
2)A ps3 on fw/cfw 3.55 or lower
3)An Ethernet cable (it looks like a big blue phone line cable)
4)A usb port (storage drive) (thumb drive) (junk drive) (flash Drive)etc. Whatever you call it
5)A file manager of your choice (e.g) The Well Known "Comgenies" or Multiman or , Black Box Hooked up to a Ftp Server Such as File Zilla.
6)A modified Patch for mw2 v1.13 unless you want to bypass and stay on 1.11 But im not gonna go into that as of now.
7)A copy of mw2
8.Some Common Sense

_First Steps_
If your ps3 is on ofw 3.55 please upgrade it to 3.55cfw such as geohotz or Kmeaw.
1) On your usb make a folder called PS3 and in that folder make another folder called UPDAT
2)Place the cfw updat.pup into that folder
3)Safley remove hardware from your computer
4)place usb into you ps3
5)goto update via storage media device
6) UPDATE!

--- Now that you are on a cfw ---
1)Plug you usb back into your computer and on the root of your ps3 you want to put the filemanager of your choice .pkg file
this will be like Comgenies file manager signedfor 3.55cfw and will be in a .pkg form with a title such as up000pu00300-u00pu00
after you place this on the *ROOT* of your flash drive place the flash drvie into you ps3 and on the main xmb menu on your ps3 you should see a new folder under the games option called install package files.
2)CLICK IT
3)install the file called UP00023- etc..
4)now that you have the file manager installed it should show up on the list of games or programs you have downloaded from the ps store or anywhere else.
5) Now makesure that you take the patch you want to use for mw2 and place it into a folder on your usb called "ModdedMw2"
6)make sure you have mw2 installed on your ps3 with cfw/jb.
7)While having you patch on your usb the the folder go onto your filemanager on your ps3 (Makesure your usb is in your ps3)
8.Now heres the tricky part where if you F*** up, you are screwed cause you could brick your console (no worries tho)
9)While on the left side of your file manager you need to navigate to the mw2 patch currently installed on your system.
Hdd0----> game ----> blus30077----> USDIR.------> Patch_mp.ff (blus/bles code will depend on your region but should most likly be that) now once at your patch_mp.ff you want to navigate onto the right side of the file manager by pressing "of course" RIGHT on the dpad.
10) Now that your on the right side go down to any usb000# an than click it.
11) Find you patch in the folder that you labled earlier and once you are over your patch press O, than the start button to copy it over the previous mw2 patch.
12) Quit the game (file manager) and now take out mw2 from your modded ps3 and put it into your 4.00 ps3

_Data Transfer_
1)back up anything you want to save on your 4.00 ps3using the backup utility found uncder system settings.
2)after you back up all your stuff turn off you ps3 on 3.55cfw/jb and your ps3 on 4.00 and connect the two with an ether net cable.
3)turn on your 3.55cfw/jb ps3 and set your tv to display its image.
4) on that ps3 goto system settings -- data transfer utility -- and if it askes you abou the tropies and psna ccount say no to both.
5) now it should say set data transfer on the ps3 recieving the data so do as it says and set ur tv to display that ps3
6)Do what you did in step 4 but select recieving data instead of sending.
7) If all goes well you should have to reformat your 4.00 ps3 and than transfer the hacked data onto it and than have a modded mw2 patch be playable

No need to delete the .self unless your bypassing, but heres a link to the latest efthy patch You must login or register to view this content.

What does bypass do? Also do i first have to install the original 1.13 patch for mw2 on cfw ps3 right? Is bypassing better than having a 1.13
patch on both the ps3's? Also did you add me on Skype as that is way easier than going back and forth on here. THanks bro you r so legit.

Skype is for personal uses only sorry, and it depends if you want to play on bypass with opnly others that are bypassed or play with anyone on 1.13 with less mods then if bypassed. and yes you need to install normal 1.13 first then just overwrite it with modded. you can also download a pkg file to get original 1.13 on cfw. google it theres a ton

I understand that you told me to put the original 1.13 on the cfw but how can i do that? You told me to google but what should i google and if you can give me a direct link that will be great as well. Also sorry dude i m just new to the 1.13 concept. Do i have to have played mw2 on the cfw system before or...? Also is there a way to have the BLUS30377 folder on the cfw system without having played mw2 on there. IF yes then how can i do that and please provide me the link that can kindly help me. thnx

just hook your 3.55cfw system up to wifi then play mw2 on it and let it update to 1.13 then use comgenies or anotherhr filemanager to ovewrite the the original patch with the modded one, sorry no need for pkg i was thinking about something else

I am just wondering as when i try to load the game up and install the 1.13 from there, what if it doesn't let me open the game and what i don't get the option for updating to 1.13 what do i do from there? Also the cfw ps3 that i have has never been played with mw2 so does that matter or not? So i was trying to say that what if the ps3 has never played mw2 on it before and it won't load the game, is there a way of going from there like installing a .pkg or something?
