Yeah you could downgrade but you need a E3 flasher or something else I can't remember. I would just recomend getting a already JB/CFWed ps3 so you don't have to downgrade everytime you want to change a patch or a new one comes out and you want it. Trust me I did this and its really helpful to change patches for anygame and stuff.
