I know there are lots of mods and patchs around that can do almost anything, but I thought they only worked in private lobbys. Yesterday I was playing a regular search and destroy match online and found 2 or 3 guys with wall hacks, super jump, aim assist, UAV and who knows what else...

How is this possible?

It has always been possible.
The same as private match except online.

As you have probably guessed, Im a complete noob on the subject, I have been playing MW2 for a long time and thought this wasnt possible.

Where can I find some info about this hacks/exploits? Any link or keyword would be apreciated...

If you are wondering what you need to do these, you need one PS3 that is on 3.55 or lower firmware and one on the latest firmware.
If you have those two, you can do the hacks/exploits.

So, the only way to use any hacks or exploits online is with a jailbroken PS3? There is no patch, infection or whatever that can be used online by someone on a 4.0 PS3?

Lately the number of people using hacks online is getting bigger and bigger, I would like to balance things a little.
