(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, so I've heard a lot of people saying their MW2 keeps crashing at startup after the first logo. Well, I'm going to show you how to fix this and explain why this happens! There are two methods of fixing this.

First, let me explain why. When you bypass, IW thinks/knows you're hacking to try and get prestige tokens for MW3. So they block your IP from MW2 causing it to crash upon startup. P.S. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME ON THIS, SIGN OUT THEN GO TO MULTIPLAYER. THEN PRESS PLAY ONLINE, RIGHT AS YOU SIGN IN, IT WILL CRASH AGAIN!

Method 1:

1. Sign out of PSN AND eject disc
2. Restart modem AND router
3. Re-Insert game disc
4. Have fun

Method 2:

1. Insert MW3
2. Go to Multiplayer and find a match
3. Play 1-2 minutes
4. Go back to MW2
5. Have fun

I bypassed my old ps3 but I recently got one for christmas and this just started happening to me in late February. Will bypassing my old ps3 effect this ps3 aswell?

Edit: I just attempted method 2 and it didn't happen to work. anyother suggestions?
