but when i use nico's clean menu and mod menu i place the coding in events.gsc and i rename it to buttons_default.cfg i put it on my ps3 and i get a black screen and i do not know why anyone help please

ummm...I dont exactly understand what your saying, but you say you rename events.gsc to buttons_default.cfg?.?.? Isnt that replacing it with too many letters? Either way I would just mod a .cfg patch that has all the directories in it already. I would just use this patch....Has everything you need to make your own patch out of it.

nahhhh im making the patch to get better with cfg and nope either wway of renaming it its still gonna be 19 letter

hey, the easiest way to understand, is to see how people do it
Download a patch and edit it, you will understand the basics...

Try to understand by your self

There's a multitude of reasons that this could be. Could you post your buttons_default.cfg in a code tag, so we can rule out if it's your coding or not?
