Pretty amazing news for me.
How does everyone think this will effect gameplay?
Personally I think it will encourage more teamwork with a couple of people using shield side by side they can provide much needed cover for someone behind them say tring to plant the bomb in an SND game.
I also wonder how much thses shiled will protect you?
Will they bounce off grenades?
deflect LMG bullets or maybe even defend against a rocket launcher.
I cannot wait to find out.

there will NOT be riot shields in MW2 that was just a rumor

If its a rumor then there is a possibility that it could bee in the game. It just means its not confirmed. I thought it was confirmed in the first MW2 trailer.

i reakon there will be sheilds in co-op, single player im pretty sure these wont be in multiplayer

there are loads of pictures and videos of riot shields in the co-op and single player trailers and they could well be in the online, its just noy confirmed yet and there are shields in RSV 2

yeah just not really talked about use of them online, but I'm sure a rocket will destroy a shield, its meant to deflect some damage and bullets of lmg's and small arms.

it could however be quite useful in some situation though
