Did you bychance install any map packs or is your patch more than 237 kb?

If you have bypassed before and didn't replace the mp.self file thingy that could cause the problem. Try using a clean patch. If that fails, re-download the game data for it.

i have bypassed before but i downgraded it so everything was clean and new,

So you already tried deleting the file from the game data utility and redownloading?
