Then after that my patch wasn't working so I thought something went wrong with the files & went back to my 3.55 & did another datatransfer & now my patch won't load up on mw2 anymore. I really would like to know a fix or some guidance :/

delete the update on your cfw ps3. reinstall the 1.11 patch(or 1.13 patch) and then reload the patch on the ps3 through comgenies

test the patch on your cfw to make sure it actually works then data transfer.
if that doesnt work after you do that, let me know via PM. ill give you my skype or aim to further assist you

i didn't had problems at all i just data transfered al my patches again & they worked fine so do what cekchd said just reinstall mw2 update pkg

ok i did what you did but this time i tested on my 3.55 before anything and it didn't even load the patch. im putting it in the right place but idk if its something in my cfw thats not loading it right. i have Rebug 3.55.2. idk if this could of happen when i was messing with the debug menu trying to get access to psn. it would help if you can help me on skype. ok some how i redid my whole ps3 & installed the cfw again & put the patches on & some how started working again. i thought i was doomed but thanks for all the help you guys tried to give. its appreciated. :happycry:

to be honest, ive never used it. i dont trust it, never will.
i heard its an offshore type of deal that runs your info through there server than it runs it back through to sonys psn.
might be wrong but i also heard it gives you rsod and ylod. dont want either of them, plus i trust data transfering to my 4.25 more than getting my 3.55 banned or even worse. my mac address banned from sonys servers

yea i know what you mean. the one that i had been using was one that i didnt have to mess around with certificates, jst put in my comps ip & run the prog & got me online but im not sure if it got patched already

how do you data transfer 3.55 to 4.25? do you need to spoof? and what do you use to spoof? quote or pm me plz just got jb ps3.

for you to use your hacks you need 3.55 cfw not ofw. once you get you're patches all ready & they work on your cfw ps3 you can transfer. but in order for you to datatransfer you need to spoof your ps3. depending on what cfw you get you get the spoofer that goes to that cfw. on my side im on cfw Rebug 3.55.2 & i have 4.11 Spoof on it so i can dataTransfer. there's alot of spoofers on here for the cfw. if you need anymore guidance jst let me know once you already have a cfw installed.
