+Rep for this. On the IW forums, there is a cure for it. When you see it, shut off your system. Then disconnect your router manually (I just unplug the power cable on it) for a FULL minute. Then get back on and enjoy some Skorpion goodness. It was completely gone for me after about 5 times of doing this. I was so glad for this because I sometimes had to wait over an hour to get on. There you go.

thank you. finaly someone whos not just guessing at the prob +rep but um when u shut ur ps3 off do you do it manually or do you hold the ps button and press turn off system

Either one works if by "manually" you mean go up to the PS3 and press the button on the front. Thanks for the rep bro!

its nothing to do with the internet speed because mine is fast and it happens to me. It never used to though. It works everytime after i restart my wireless box but i shouldn't have to keep restarting it cause its so annoying and It doesn't happen to me on World at war.

yeah im find on waw but on cod4 its an issue
