uh I've never had this problem but aren't you just supposed to reset your router or something when this happens? Fairly common problem I believe but I think it is more on the user side than on the game.

The only reason it has the "DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS" for so long is because your internet connection to the psn network or just your internet connection in general is bad. It really has nothing to do with the game.

It will most likely have this as you will always need to download your game settings. Usually it isn't bad unless you're lagging.

I never have this,the longest I have had it going for was about 5minz,but that's because y internet was messed that day.

Hopefully they won't have it. So then the people it does happen to don't need to worry.

Lol... 5 minutes?! Most I've ever had to wait was 5 seconds. On average I wait 1-2 seconds.

yeah well i dont feel like having to reset my router every time i want to play. i used to not have to reset it every time but now i do. and it has nothing to do with your interent. its a glitch in the game where it combines the first downloading game settings with the screen where you can find a game. im not talking about the first downloading game settings im tlking about the second. if you have a wired connection you dont have this problem

nope, all these posts about bad internet connection aren't true. I have very good internet connection and could host on cod 4. Now I can't host multiplayer but am an awesome host on nazi zombies. I used to get this but i found that signing out then back in helped for me. Hope that works, worked for me. There were some other tricks I did but i'm sorry, I honestly can't remember them.

Wow. You never fail to amaze me. In COD4, it says downloading game settings and if your internet blows it stays up for a long time. COD4=made my IW MW2=made by IW. See the resemblance?

And my internet is wireless, I've never had that problem unless I was lagging. And my internet is like the cheapest shit ever.
