(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Back in June at E3 2009, Infinity Ward revealed that their upcoming title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will be getting two DLC map packs. Just recently, it was revealed that the first map pack will be arriving during the spring of next year.

Even with all the early announcements, Infinity Ward is denying that work has begun on the first DLC for Modern Warfare 2. Robert Bowling, Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward, made the following statement on the developer’s forum:

We haven't even begun thinking about what our DLC will be, Let alone finish any.

NO DLC will begin development until the entire game is finished and certified.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The DLC map packs were announced to be timed-exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of the game.

That answers the question on every-bodies lips

that's good at least they don't have maps that they are saving until after launch.

Obviously it hasn't begun they might aswell of released the maps with the game if theyd done them. The Maps have to be an improvement of the maps already shipped with the game - so they'll let us play for abit take onboard what the community has too say and make some good maps
