did you pay by creditcard? if so just go into the game shop and have a word with them, they should be able to sort it out for you, if you went instore to just get the pre-order slip, i.e no money involved, then just dont go and buy it, a pre-order clip isnt a contract to buy the game, it just means your copy is reserved for 48 hours instore for you to pick up

When i rang them up, after i had successfully cancelled the order, the guy said to me that the chances were that you would recieve the game 3-5 days after the release date because of the huge demand in pre-orders and the amount they have to send out because they can not possibly keep up the amount of total deliveries just for one product. Seriously i would just pre-order somewhere you can pick it up on the day. That way you dont have to put your faith in delivery times.

Well there was just as many pre-orders for W@W and the games got delivered 2 days early from play.com.
If my game hasnt been delivered by the day before then I'm going to queue at ASDA for the midnight release.
