Dispatch 4 - 5 days before release date. They send by recorded delivery. (Not special) So hopefully......hopefully I will be playing this on Saturday 7th as long as they Dispatch on Friday and the post is on time.

Royal mail have 2 planned strikes which are this Thursday and Friday, that is it and only normal mail wil be affected, not parcels, recorded and special delivery's.

Yeah, I was just going to state this. I can't believe how they can never get a deal sorted out, and they have a backlog of around 8 million + parcels so oyu definitely would be lucky to get it in time for release. I've already made my plans for getting the game 2 days before release....


I will be pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2 from the same place I pre-ordered OFPR from and got it 2 days early, and that was also during the strike so, WIN!

And just for security measures I will be using UKmail to deliver it not royal mail so it won't get help in the strike

Do Play.com even use Royal Mail - Ive had my game come at 6pm when My post comes at 8 in Mornin.

and i hope we will get it on saturday maby sunday if they deliver on sundays if not monday

i know that 360 has a patch that you cant play games early or you get blocked or banned but you can play early on ps3 i remember i got LBP like 3 weeks early and i could play online.

PLAY.COM told me on the phone that they use Royal Mail and recorded delivery.

thats awesome, i got LBP and COD5 early lol. also i get MW2 3 days early cause my bro works at best buy and he gets it cause he is manager LOL

It was something I saw early on in the month, around the 5th or something it said that on the official Royal Mail website...
