from Crazy Turk's thread (thanked)
he says there is no rookie but say one person has the game on regular and the other on veteran have the veteran guy hide and the regular guy does all the work could possibly be a tiny trick never know. what do you guys think?

it will be set up the same way as competitive co op on cod 5 where there are separate playlists for each difficulty. not that hard to figure out....

No, you and your partner get the lowest possible rank as your final rank. So if you are on veteran and your partner is on regular, you guys the 1 star only.

Yep the guy above is correct ^^

He says that they countered it by only rewarding you for the difficulty you are playing on, so he thought that <3KAIZERSOSA81 was asking if the regular guy would get veteran awards. I dont think he understood the question correctly

Maggbot timeout!
as in different difficulty's i think he is saying that the person on vet will take less bullets to die or the enemy will take more bullets... and a little easyer on normal but if all you do is hide you wont get any points ether way so there is no point of hiding you will end up up losing ether way.

so im on vet i need 3 bullets to kill some on but in 2 or 3 ill be down
and now im on normal it takes 3 bullets to kill an enemy but it takes 3-4 bullets to take me down ( those are not the exact numbers just an example )

Wow, this thread can be very confusing to people who don't know the full details.
The truth is, if you play co-op Spec Ops on different difficulties, you only get rewarded for the lowest difficulty played. So you can't cheat your way through Spec Ops, lol.

Example
1 player on Veteran, and the other on Regular. You will only get the rewards for regular difficulty.
