People have, since the invention of video games, believed that if the player does something in the game he thinks it is also acceptable in the real world. All of these people do not play video games, they do not realize multiplayer is about a team working towards a common goal, not about shooting people, that just happens to be the way to win CTF instead of tagging people.

Which people? Those w/ mental health problems?

I think it just scares people because it's a very real situation. At any moment Russians could act American and waste an airport. It's a scary thing to think about.

The game looks awesome. I don't care about the violence in the game. It's suppose to be there and I'm glad it is. On another note though. Some of you say that video games don't influence kids. I find this to be a total farce. Video games do influence ones actions and it can't be denied. I've seen several members in this forum reply to the thread " you know you've played to much WAW if".

Some of the replies absolutely proof that video games can effect the way one conducts themselfs in the real world. For example: A couple of guys have said that when they are walking down the sidewalk they can see a building and think man that would be a great place to snipe from. That's influence.

That's how it all begins and has been proved over and over agian. How many times have we heard about some kid's violent actions that were influenced by a video game. That short answer of course is many times. I agree parents should do a better job of screening their kids from these kinds of violent video games. You never know how someone will react when they have been exposed to such violence.

Either way long live MW2!!!

I feel the same way, good side is fun, but it's like that for every game. Nice to finally be able to be the enemy. Happy
