you wont get banned, cus the only reason xbox players are getting banned is because they are using pirate games, ps3 cant be pirated.

plus, what if legit, some company gave you the game early, ps3 or IW wouldnt ban you for that.

You can't get banned for playing a game you legitimately purchased....

FYI...... They will not ban you for having the game early! I have had game since 10-26-09 and nothing. Leaderboards are or not being reset. I have played with many other players that have had the game and not one have been banned. I think people over think things and fear the worst (remember its just a game)! Don't take what people say about being punished here scare you. I myself finished story mode on vet about 2 days ago and I must say the game is great.

Yes, a buddy of mine jus got banned a few days ago for the same thing. We've been playing it by taking out our HD (which sux b/c you can't save anything), but just being able to explore the boards puts us way ahead of the power curve. Have not been playing online, doing split screen. Spec Ops is SWEET!

def play the story mode instead of online. its too much to risk just in case.

just do split-screen with some friends, spec ops and single player...the leadserboards is yet to be reset so theres no point in online right now
