no they wont bounce off, the bullets will only make cracks in the shield.

I dont think it has a chance of that happening to you as from what we've heard the riot shield doesn't bounce bullets around.

It does indeed reflect bullets. One of the Intel tips on loading screens says so.

There is a challenge for killing someone by bouncing a bullet off a riot shield. I killed myself once: I threw a knife at a riot shield cuz i got pissed [wasted all ammo on his shield] and the muther fuc*** knife bounced back and killed me...
