In Linux, if you go to "Computer" you can view the blu-ray disc that is inserted in the PS3 and edit it (to edit them you have to do a few things to your permissions on Linux)

If the XBOX360 tutorial was given, it would be possible to hack Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3, because most of the files are the same.

Certain sites also say multiplayer hacking is possible, if another .FF file is edited.

Note: CVARS ("console" commands) are gone from MW2.
Note: DVARS still exist, that is how the campaign mode was hacked. There are tons of them that were converted from CVARS, such as godmode.

DVAR lists are probably somewhere on a PC MW2 board, and I could easily find them.

If someone finds the methodology on XBOX to hack Singleplayer / Multiplayer, please drop me a line...

Ill try looking into that, usually theres a checksum so you MIGHT be out of luck and if you put the disc in that would be the iso which I can see how you can mod it then save it back onto the disc without re-writing it(almost impossible) and there ARE blueray checks in place when you boot up checking the value and serial #/

It's not an ISO on the disc, it's multiple files. It depends on how it's checked, if it's CRC that can be over-written.

well that does make sense there external values but since I dont run Linux I will see if someone else could find out.
