Of course they are going to have Cvars and Dvars but, they took out the extra dev ones such as god mode, we don't need that, in COD4 they forgot to take them about because they were too lazy, in MW2 they learned their lesson and removed almost everything that's why their game is glitchy as hell at points. The only way to hack would be to hack the ISO and edit the files in the disk.

that is exacly what i have been saying to all that think they modded online or thinks they can mod online mp or even cod5 modding....
plus the mp files have a RSA signature noones gonna hack the files lol but i wonder if simply zip can decompress the ff files out of the iso cause there still compressed :/ and if we did mod a disk you cant rewright on a mw2 disk you have to down load the whole iso or rip it from your 600$ blu ray drive... then you would have to hotswap your ps3 just like xbox to install the game to the hdd but you cant even install games on the ps3 hdd... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Haha im actually glad that you are not even trying to hack the PS3. When you are done hacking the 360 you would realize that you are the cause for ruining the fun of a game. Thank you

I also wish people would not hack. It ruins the game for people that don't want to cheat. Yeah sure it won't be that way forever, but for the time that it is the way the game will be unplayable. I don't have much of a problem with glitches, but hacks are terrible.

yeahh the best and main way to hack it is what has been mentioned already in this thread. hack the iso file that is burned onto the blu ray...... but you'd need a **** off good pc so that you can read the blu ray disc in the first place and to make it so you can edit it. Does anyone know if you can use the PS3 as an external hard drive and connect to your pc so that you can read the blu ray disc. By this i mean.... use the ps3 as a disc drive so that you can read blu-ray and link this to your pc..... only an idea.

As for the guy on ps3 that has the highest score and is lvl 1 with some stupid score.... im guessing he hacked the iso file.... edited the multiplayer files so that the default score is like 3 billion instead of 0 (or however much he put it to).

No, it's impossible to edit the files on the disc. It's encrypted, and even if you try to change it, the disc won't be loaded at all.

It's also impossible to packet edit. You act like there's no packet encryption on the PS3 version. You're wrong.

However, it's /POSSIBLE/ to hack MW2 on PS3 ONLY if PS3 is hacked.
Because when PS3 is hacked, you'll have greater privileges to control PS3. For example, write a PS3 program, hook it to MW2 when it's loaded.
