although, when i use things like a pred missle or a chopper gunner, they seem to count towards other kill streaks?

Very good question...I think things that you control like AC-130 or chopper gunner count towards higher, but harrier, air strike do not....im not sure at all though.....

I was asking myself the same thing. I picked up a drop pack with a harrier, and i was killed right after i called it, the harrier got me a good 5 kills, yet I didnt get a kill streak going.

dudes come on now. everyone knows that kills from a care package do NOT count towards other killstreaks you have enabled. robert bowling said this a million times lol

the only thing that doesn't count towards your kills is the care pak

Yup. Killstreaks received in Care Package DO NOT count toward your in-game killstreaks. However, If you have a pavelow, attack copter, ac-130, etc. unlocked and receive it via ingame kills, they DO count toward the ultimate killstreak [NUKE]!!
