Well the Holographic one Stays Stationary when you are moving around corners, and the RDS Moves a little bit, also On EMP The Hologrpahic Site Disapears (red dot) while the RDS Dose't

But i think thats it, i read it somewhere. so ud better confirm it.

red dot disappears during an emp also.

exactly. a red dot is just that, the simple dot. the holo has a halo around it, giving the impression that it's easier to sight.

/thread.

ps... if you are a member of the nuk3 clan that sits in free for all and nuke boosts, you're a fag. if not, I'd change your clan tag before you're dragged through the mud.

For Modern Warfare 2's sake, there is no credible difference other than a slight zoom for the EOTech Sight [Holographic] and a wider field of view. But in MW2 it is a matter of preference.

In Reality [From experience]: The EOTech allows for more accurate, and faster aiming.
The Red Dot: It is a dot simply fixed in a screen. It is only accurate if your head is perfectly aligned with the Iron Sight.

The EOTech: It is actually a "Projection" of a dot that is instead fixed in line with the direction the gun will fire.

The Difference: [Keep in mind this is real life difference, not MW2] If you are looking at an angle at the red dot light itself [you looking at the side of the gun] the red dot will point in the direction you are looking. Howeverm the EOT will still point in the direction of the rifling.

If you are still confused, or I didn't explain well enough, let me know and I will happily help.

I am error
Thank you. Does it really matter that much? RDS or HOLO just pick one or pick neither. They do pretty much the same. I'd go with HOLO for the reasons stated 3 post above this one and plus the fact that the RDS do become less accurate when turning corners and when stunned.
