I am now 4th Prestige on MW2 just by using these simple classes.

Rush Class:
Primary Weapon - UMP45 with Silencer
Secondary Weapon - Spas 12 No attachment
Equipment - Semtex
Special Grenade - Stun 2x
Perk 1 - Marathon (Pro)
Perk 2 - Lightweight (Pro)
Perk 3 - Ninja (Pro)
Death Streak Perk - Pain killer I never get to use this

High-powered Rushing class:
Primary Weapon - UMP45 with FMJ
Secondary Weapon - Spas 12 No attachment
Equipment - Semtex
Special Grenade - Stun 2x
Perk 1 - Marathon (Pro)
Perk 2 - Stopping Power (Pro)
Perk 3 - Ninja (Pro)
Death Streak Perk - Pain Killer

Sniping Class:
Primary Weapon - Intervention with FMJ/Thermal
Secondary Weapon - Spas 12 No attachment
Equipment - Semtex
Special Grenade - Stun 2x
Perk 1 - Marathon (Pro)/ Sleight of Hand (Pro)
Perk 2 - Stopping Power (Pro)
Perk 3 - Ninja (Pro)
Death Streak Perk - Pain Killer

Just use these three classes in Search and Destroy and you'll be fine. I usually get about 10,000 XP a match and sometimes extra with challenges. I have been doing this since the release of the game and it works very well for me .

Note: I don't usually play in party's but you get a lot more wins than experience when playing in party's, well really it depends on who you play with .

So what class do you suggest after you prestige because you lose the FMJ attachment?

I love the marathon, lightweight and ninja w/ UMP it's a great class for all game play types.

I think it's good because 70% of the players do not bother changing their sensitivity setting. If you leave it at default, it is impossible to kill a marathon/lightweight player thats in front of you and starts moving left or right. If the other player tries to ADS and you move to the side he can't keep his crosshairs on you because it is too fast and he is dead before he can drop ADS and try to hip fire.

Another excellect attachment for the class is commando pro.
