ok so rent a copy at blockbuster or whatever play it and go to where your avatar is one over to recent games then you go install to hard drive on the rented disk. then return it and whenever you want to play put in the scratched one it will read that its there and play from the rented that was installed on the hard drive, my friend did this for cod4 works miracles

dude take it to your nearest game shop and ask them if the can repair it ... my cod 4 done that and i got it repaired...

This, done this with a few playstation one games that I found. They work perfectly now.

well you could do the old toothbase idea, but i got something even better. Well when i got Fable 2 (when it just came out), i got the stupid scratch too. I just went back to the store and said that this disk doesnt work, so id like another one. WOrked perfectly

It was the xbox, not the mw2. Searched my problem on google and found a vid where you like tap on the xbox. It looked like a load of bs but it worked.

On a more serious note buy the game at like bestbuy, get the insurance, trade in the broken one for a new copy, get a refund.
