It works. I tested it myself. Although you might be mis reading. It is just the sound saying "Hardcore Global Thermonuclear War" It isn't the actual game mode.

Yeh lol, invited a lot of friends to my party and I was expecting to play the gamemode but I just heard "hardcore thermal nuclear war" and everyone is like "wtf" lol

Yea. Sorry about that, I expect it to surface eventually though, whether it be by IW or by hackers.

Hopefully they will add it soon, it really sounds like a fun gamemode

is there a way to play it in ps3 with the full the thing but ps3 only says Global Thermonuclear War on HQ
