Chopper Gunner is better on *most* maps, though the AC-130 OWNS when you have multiple obstructions in your way of a clean shot that the chopper gunner can't get to. For example...Underpass, easier with AC-130...shoot inside windows, alongside the highways. Invasion and Highrise too. Easy to shoot a big 105 shot into the entrance of a room or window and take out the inside part of that building. Too bad it's not like BF1943 and some of the walls could be destroyed, removing cover. Maps too small for that though, because with the amount of explosives one can use in this game (like grenade launcher and thumper with danger close pro...one of my favorite annoying setups I like to use...especially with scavenger pro).

Really depends on the map. Anyways, I usually have the Chopper Gunner set and will switch to AC-130 on certain maps. Invasion, Underpass, and High Rise being 3 of them I can think of right now. There's a couple others too...like.....Karachi. There's one more.

I'm still deciding on this myself.
The chopper gunner seems to last longer and doesn't reload, meaning more kills. But it is easier to get shot down and sometimes you can kill the person cos they are hiding in a window and they don't always show as white.
The AC 130 doesn't last as long (IMO), reloads too much meaning you can miss out on a few easy kills. The 105mm is ace for spawn raping, killing them before they run away. It's not as easy to shoot down as it has flares.
I dunno what to use.

ac130 is much cooler, and its shit scary when your on the opposing team, its also much further away and a hell of alot harder to destroy.

AC130 imo, people are quick to shoot chopper down and with ac130 easier to take out the person attempting to do so since you're at a higher elevation you can see most of the map and spot that guy standing still and take him with weith the bomb or machine gun and I always get mad group kills with an AC130 which overall beats the total of kills I see most people get using a chopper. Everytime I get the AC130 I get a nuke plug im inching closer to the sweet prestige emblem (not the Ac130 emblem)

1st for an AC 130 you can only stay in there for like a minute

on top of that you DONT HAVE TO TAKE FOREVER TO REALOAD!!!!!!!

in the AC 130 it takes like 10 seconds to reload on everything
