This is very true, similarly like in the beginning of COD4.
I believe the key thing here is anyone who would like to do what he did search for a flow or overload allowed type command within the gamesave itself and see if there is anything around that neck of the woods. If anyone has a gamesave pm it to me or something and I will give it a look around.
Note: Not saying this is even the solution to getting a fully active account with the stat exploit, but hey you gotta start somewhere right?

Sorry dudes even if it was posted i'd get credited 
i wouldnt really because i never posted it but i tried this, was one of the first things i tried. ps3 freezes at please wait... even after you re-insert the disc. I'v also tried going back to split screen and deleting the game data before you play, iv tried playin out a full private match it all still freezes. I've tried joining a session then joining another. I've tried loads now. From what i've gathered from chris' posts there is a specific address and column (offset and column) in the mpdata file that needs to be changed to an exact value. The chances of this are absurd. Unless you change the whole file to the same value and keep doing that with all the possible values haha. Even still your no better off. Guys either someone has to release this or someone has to get it, as soon as IW patch/fix the bug that allows you to upload fake stats then this will be patched aswell. So if u wanna be 10th and play u need to do it before otherwise the chance is gone

I agree there gonna have to patch it anyways so might as well give it to us now so we have the chance to get 10th. Im just saying theres only a small window of opportunity and we might as well take it
