I noticed in the past couple of days how people seem to completely neglect the fact airsupport needs to be taken down. Now I can't snipe and take down airsupport as the secondary weapon is just too important to a sniper, also stopping power is a must in core matches. So do I take one for the team and change to a assault rifle class which i'm not all that with or do I stick to my sniper rifle and let my team get slaughtered?

Just take it down yourself mate! + Points and you may get some kills with the class!

stopping power is not needed in core in mw2. it's a placebo effect. change out to hardline or something else in the 2 slot. guarantee you will not notice a difference besides for the game getting better by getting your kill streaks that much faster.

and that's coming from a die hard stopping power user. I don't think I'll ever use it again.

Its troubling to answer this question when your playing mercenary TDM, people when playing that are normally idiots, your best trying to take it out yourself if you can or play normal TDM with friends.

I find it easier to concentrate when playing on my own, so my score is a hell of alot better. Most of my friends are little search and destroy whores. I hate search with a passion!

Edit: Just played some normal TDM and I'm doing a hell of a lot better. Maybe its just because there are less camping mofo. I've just unlocked the silencer on the scar, so that probably has something to do with it. Scar scavenger coldblooded and ninja is beast.

I snipe with cold blooded on. Yeah, it take 2 shots to kill (depending one where you shoot) but if you are a good You must login or register to view this content. (and I actually mean sniper, not some little fag who thinks no scoping across the map is classed as a good sniper]) it shouldn't be a problem. With cold blooded, you won't get slaughtered by them (unless it's AC 130 or chopper gunner, in which case you run inside) and will continue to rack up your killstreak while your team gets slaughtered instead, leaving someone with a launcher as a secondary to take it down.

That's not the problem, I could easily hit the neck or above 9/10. Its when someone comes up on your position that you have no chance. You can't exactly spin around and whip out a stinger can you.

That's just bad luck then lol. I very rarely see people take things out of the sky.
