(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I heard that, once you prestige, you earn a whole new category of challenges(I can confirm this b/c I prestiged) but, I also heard if you say get, 499 kills for tyhe intervention(you need 500 for the prestige challenge) after you prestige does all the kills you got for tat gun go away? b/c I don't think it's possible to get 1000 kills with the AC-130.

ive just gone first prestige an i got a new set of challenges called, you guessed it "prestige"

Edit: i couldnt imaging getting 1000 ac-130 kills, bet that would take ages :S

It will take a long time to complete 1000 kills with ac-130 but when you do, you get the cod4 spinning gold cross emblem.

the middle 10 ,or so, in the prestige challenges do not go away so you can accumulate across all the prestiges. however, with the mastery and veteran challenges with each weapon, its 1000 headshots for veteran and 2500 kills for mastery, these do not reset across the prestige, once you acheive them they are done

The way you can tell if a challenge will reset after you prestige is by the color of the words.

For example all of the challenges under the "prestige" challenges section are blinking green, that means they won't reset if you prestige again. Now if you go and look at the weapons challenges, they're all white except for the bottom 2, they are blinking green, meaning they will not reset.

edit: mistake, the ones under the prestige section DO reset. The weapons challenges that are green do not reset however.

I meant to say that the ones that are green LIKE the ones in the prestige challenges section do not reset.

I'll tell you how it is.

The prestige challenges are unlocked after you prestige.

After you prestige again (2nd time and so on) the first 10 prestige challenges in the prestige section don't reset. The only 1 inside the first 10 prestige challenges that does reset is heads up! (All the challenges after spectre reset)

For the guns,I'm on 2100 kills with my FAMAS,I prestiged to 2nd prestige yesterday and they didn't reset.
