TheSpartan's and MoBaTs MW2 Leaderboards Tool
This is our tool to Mod MW2 MPData File Easily.
You just Load the File, Edits Values then Save, Easy isn't it
?
EDIT : Values in Save are in INT32 Format (4 Hex Bytes) so too big number will return Error when Saving.

Not necessarily the appropriate thread to post this question in, however I'll give you my best answer:
There has been some speculation from the Infinity Ward Community Manager concerning that people would be getting removed / banned from Modern Warfare 2 for hacking on the Playstation 3. Some people think this is merely a bluff, trying to scare people from continuing to hack. Others are biting the hook, believing that trouble is on the horizon for hackers. Sony's Playstation Network however, from what I've heard around the forum, does not plan on banning people for Modern Wafare 2 violation with the exception of packet injection.
If you are considering hacking, I'd suggest keep it to the minimal. Do something in which you're secure. The 10th Prestige hack is becoming more and more discouraged as we await to see what Infinity Ward does do in response to recent hacks.

this is pointless... i tried it it worked for my friends not being able to see then after i played a game they could see it then after i sat there to get drink my leaderboards disapeared

Likely one of the issues to be addressed in later versions. Of course that's something that can only be confirmed by the creators, though.

LOL alright When you prestige you lose everything anyways you cant do anything not to lose your guns when you prestige its the game!
