Firstly I found this! Now that I've said that on to the tutorial.

The is a few ways to do this already that got leaked but I can tell you that they both don't always work now I tired myself a few minitues ago and got a new error code.

This Tutorial is Very simple with loads of little steps to help the simple.

Step 1

and download the GSY RAR. Or download the Rank 70 File Here:You must login or register to view this content.
Then go here: You must login or register to view this content.
And downlaod the HACK RAR.

Step 2

Power on your ps3, go to splitscreen and Create TWO new offline profiles, One named: "HACK" The other named: "GSY" . Then go back to "Saved Data Utility" and copy the TWO new proifiles over to your USB.

Step 3

Copy and Replace the MPDATA in the HACK Profile with the one from the RAR archive and do the same for the GSY Profile.

(Optional)
If you want to be a different prestige - not 10th. You need to edit the MPDATA of GSY NOW changing the offset from 09 for 10th prestige to the prestige lower than the one you want to be. So for example if you want to be 6th Prestige change the prestige offset from 09 to 05. For help with this part click here: You must login or register to view this content.

Step 4

Now copy both the Profiles back onto the PS3. Boot up mw2 go to "Multiplayer" and Press "X" on "Play Online" This will load the Matchmaking Data. You will still be in the Menu so now go to "Splitscreen" Press "Join Game" and choose to "Load".

Step 5

Here you choose the profile named "HACK" once it loads you will see a black screen with an error. Thats good. Now press X. Then go to Splitscreen Again, "Join Game" and Press X to Continue.

Step 6

Now you will be in a lobby. Go to the BARRACKS. And choose to do PRESTIGE MODE. Once again you will get a black screen and an Error. It will also take you back to the Multiplayer menu.

Step 7

Now once again go to "Splitscreen", Join Game and Now this time press Square. To "Change Offline Profile" Then "Load" your other profile named, "GSY".

Step 8
You shouldn't see any errors this time. DO NOT PRESS "X" You want now to press "O" to "Leave Game" and go "Back". Press up and go to "Play Online"

Step 9

You should notice that you are Rank 70 Prestige 9. Go to BARRACKS and do PRESTIGE MODE. If it is done correctly you shouldn't get an Error: We do not have Stats for prestige "10". If you do see this error You need to Copy the Saved Data from your USB back to your PS3 and start again from Step 4.

Step 10

Final Step if you didn't get an error you will now be 10th Prestige (or Prestige of your choice) Then all you have to do if play One game, Re-start your PS3 and check it worked.


Additional Advice.

If you get the error more than once and you copied BOTH the profiles over. Try joining a game first so it will "Connect to the Matchmaking Servers" Then Quit and PRESTIGE. You will probably get an error here but now go to Step 5. And everything should work.

Please note it is not possible to Un-Prestige this causes the errors stated above.

To Get to Rank 70

Ok If you want to get level 70 and for it to stick you need to follow the 10 STEPS above. The Make sure you download the Level 70 rar. You must login or register to view this content. Now you need to repeat all the steps above but replace the GSY file with the GSY70 File. Once you have done that you should have a level 70 10th Prestige. Now quit the game or w/e and it will still be there.

If this isnt working your not alone what sometime helps me is:

Loading as I said up to step7 then swap controllers and load the hack again. Now with player 2 go to barracks and prestige then once at the menu change controllers back to number 1. Then Play online and it will stick.

You need Prestige online to stick, but if you prestige you becom level 1 again,.. its not possible I dont believe.

This, is fake.. its not real! no real proof thats ive heard.

Your rank cannot stick!

Only prestige can stick because ur tricking the server.

Guy it works you need to read it all and its not working everytime I know. I will edit the first post with a little more info to help.

I've read it all and done it 3 times on different accounts, it's not possible because here's why:

The gamesave will put you to level 70, to make the stats stick, you have to prestige otherwise you keep the stats that are in the gamesave which will stay on the leaderboards but wont stay on your rank etc. if you quit game.

If you prestige, you wont go straight to 70 on the next prestige, you'll go to rank 1, thus it won't work.

Nobody will be more happy than myself if you can find a way for this to work, but for now it just doesn't make sense.

It's not possible to work. Anyone who said it did, clearly hasn't quit MW2 or restarted their PS3. A mod should really close this, because anyone can get 10th prestige LV 70, it's the fact of making it stick that counts.

It is posible I just did it and its working again...

Guys it does work once you do it all you'll be Prestige 9 Level 70 then you Prestige and become Prestige 10 Level 1 and it does stick if you guys are trying to make it stick on Prestige 10 Level 70 then no it wont stick you have to level up 10th Prestige yourself which isn't hard but once you level it up to 70 Prestige 10 it will stick.

Lst, read the post FFS, clearly says it'll get rank 70 10th prest. to stick, so before you come with your nooby remarks, get upto date with what we're trying to achieve here, sorry but it's just a bit annoying.
