A. At the moment, I have not heard of any users being banned for hacking. Your best bet is to keep your score on the down low and not to strive for #1 on the LeaderBoards. Keep in mind also, that if you do hack, there is always a posiblity of a ban being issued, so be warned.

A. Depends on who's hacks you use, and who's tutorial you followed. By following NightSesh's tutorial above, you're account is fully activated and you can sign off, leave games, join games just like if you hadn't hacked.

A. Sony somehow blocked it so that you can't bypass the patch that way for MW2.

Q. WTF? Why doesn't my GameSave make an error?

Now, once you prestige, all you old data comes back, but the server no longer is tricked, it is now forced into thinking you are actually this prestige. A. Easy, send it into one of the moderators. Never, I repeat NEVER send it to a premium member. No matter how much rep/posts he has, don't do it. They 95% of the time take your finding, and say they found it. A moderator is trustworthy and will give you credit for the finding in the post to follow.

THIS IS ON "PS3" VERSION !!!
Ok hear me out !!! let me begin by saying I am a noob at hacking !
2nd !... while this thread is about Hacking the HDD of the PS3 for MW2 and this question/post of mines may or may not deal with the HDD(idk seeing that I can't find an answer as to how to do it !), it is a problem with the PS3 version of MW2 and is still considered a Hack(by hex hxd MPDATA) so I posted it here. I've seen this question asked by other people as well all over by googling it but the question is never answered !.
The question is does ANYONE know how to change the "Player" "Guest 2(3/4)" to the profile names in splitscreen(PS3) using the "hxd" hex edit ?... or a way to change them at all so that it says the profile name instead !?!... and it seem to only be an issue for PS3 version cause some of the askers said they've play the xbox version and it says the profile name
I'm a noob at this hacking stuff and only at entry level with hacking splitscreen profiles(MPDATA) with hex editor !.
Also !!!, *and this is not as important... but...* if anyone knows which offsets and hexs digit that will get rid of the green "new" boxes in lobby would help too(there are 6 of them stuck !... the "challenges" in barracks, "Title" & "em's" in Callsigns/KStreak and the primary,secondary&equip in create class all have a green "new" box stuck next to them even though I've highlighted everything in those options) !!.
I'd really appreciate the help !!!

All that's left is getting the profile names to appear under the title in the lobby and over the players heads in matches... oh and getting rid of the 6 green "new" boxes that seem to be stuck there... but my main concern is the Profile Names to replace the "Player" and "Guest #" names !.***

Q. I don't Want to do the Prestige hack, I'll lose all my stuff!
A. Actually, if you do the prestige hack, you'll still have all the attachments, camo's, and pro perks you had from before you hacked. Ex. I'm level 56 1st prestige, and have Fall Intervention, will I keep it? Yes, when you do the prestige hack, rank up to level 4 and then you'll be able to get your Fall Intervention.

Q. WTF? Why doesn't my GameSave make an error?
A. As of now, the prestige hack has been patched. But, to still do the P.G. just delete the patch 1.07 and bypass it. To bypass, go into the CoD4 hack section for plenty of ways.

Q. Why doesn't my Emblems + Titles stay after I prestige?
A. Wehn you do the prestige hack(just before you prestige your level 70), you're basically tricking the server. After you quit MW2 or shut off your PS3, the server refreshs bring your old rank in. Now, once you prestige, all you old data comes back, but the server no longer is tricked, it is now forced into thinking you are actually this prestige. All the Emblems + titles you have when you were level 70 dissappear b/c of this.

A. Easy, send it into one of the moderators. Never, I repeat NEVER send it to a premium member. No matter how much rep/posts he has, don't do it. They 95% of the time take your finding, and say they found it. A moderator is trustworthy and will give you credit for the finding in the post to follow.

lol guess you were wrong about us having modded lobbies on MW2 huh? lol now i think you can say that for 1.12, but hey you never know.

sometimes force host doesnt work, its not perfect. kinda pointless to post this now i know sorry lol.
