Changes in v2.2
- Added Tool Tips To EVERY Element, this should give help to people who are new to this application.

- I have modified the CVAR's in the CVAR List by adding 'Time Scale' and 'Jump Height' (Seen in the screenshot)

- Load SAVEGAME.SVG crash errors should be fixed.

- Game saves that could not be loaded into the CVAR Tool should work now.

Why Release?
I am the first to do this aswell as reverse the checksum myself, as i have been able to do this for quite a while. I just thought i might aswell release it as there's nothing special about it.

What does this do?
This allows you to modifiy the Single Player and Spec-Ops with CVAR's.

What are CVARS?
CVARS's are small commands that allow you to change variables in the game. CVAR's are part of the Quake Game Engine. This is what the COD4 Game Engine was built uppon. (e.g: jump_height 999, this will make you jump REALLY high)

Why release publicly and not in premium?
Unfortunatly, i dont have premium, so if you want me to release it into the premium section. Give me premium for free? Why should i give THEM somthing that makes THEM money if i created it? :confused:

Text Tutorial
1. Load the mission you want the mods on, 'Save and Quit' then Copy your 'Modern Warfare 2 - Single Player' gamesave from your PS3 to a USB Stick.
2. Plug your USB Stick into your PC, Load up my program. Load SAVEGAME.SVG from your USB Stick (You must login or register to view this content.)
3. After you have loaded SAVEGAME.SVG you can now use [ADD] or use the [CVARS] button's to modifiy\add CVARS.
4. Once you are happy with the edits, simply [Save SAVEGAME.SVG] and overwrite your existing SAVEGAME.SVG on your USB Stick.
5. Stick your USB Stick back into your PS3. Copy the 'Modern Warfare 2 - Single Player' gamesave back onto your PS3.
6. Load up MW2, Enter Single Player and go on 'Resume Game'.
7. You can EITHER quit the mission and load up Spec-Ops or load up a diffrent mission. NOT ALL THE CVAR'S WILL STAY ENABLED WHEN YOU QUIT!

Whats the [Fix Checksum] button for?
This allows you to fix the checksum of any manualy edited SAVEGAME.SVG (using a hex editor), if you edit the SAVEGAME.SVG in my program you wont need to use this.

FAQ - READ THIS!
Can i still get trophies while using this?
Yes!

Will this work in all regions (USA,Europe,Asia)
Yes!

Why do some things not work in Spec-Ops or after the resumed mission?
MW2 Resets the CVAR's that are enabled and i cant control that.

Why doesnt this work for me?
No idea, you must be doing somthing wrong. Make sure you have .NET Framework 3.5, If the program crashes when you try and load SAVEGAME.SVG upload it and give me the link so i can debug and try and fix the problem. Same for if it crashes ingame (if you get an error message when you are loading a mission)

I tick the CVAR's in the list and they dont appeat in the CVAR list?
There not meant to appear in the CVAR list, they just get enabled. When you click Save SAVEGAME.SVG they get added to your gamesave.

When i try use Veteran with this tool it returns to Recruit?
If any CVAR values change it resets the difficulty to the lowest, i cant control this YET. (im working on it)

Do BIND's work?
Nope, i havent found a way to support them yet.

Why does the thread title say v2.0 and in the thread its a higher version?
For some reason, the external thread title doesnt update, so you will have to keep checking the thread for updates.

whats up i try the codes for mw2 and play with them single player but cant play with all of them in spec ops like infinite health and infinite ammo cuts off when switching to spec ops if u know what i mean write back plz.

as stated before infinite ammo does not work in spec ops nether does infinite sprint and i pretty sure infinite health is not so infinite you just have more hp also stated as before some codes are reset so not all the codes work for spec ops there is nothing we can do about it just read the thread you will find out what works what does not among other things sure its 50 pages and some of the things are the same but you learn from all the mistakes of the past people and you will have less questions because most likely they would already have been answered besides if you use the fast walking backwards and fast strafe cvars you can move fast enough to regenerate health so infinite hp is not needed and you will find those codes if you read the thread Winky Winky :p

i did this and it worked perfectly for my first mission but then it didnt work for second or andy of the rest or any of the spec ops!!!!! PLEASE HELP

if you read the first post it will tell you that some of the cvars reset after another mission is loaded. just simply save and quit and re-edit the save game like before and then play again YOU MUST DO THIS FOR EACH MISSION EVERY TIME A NEW ONE LOADS THINGS GET RESET ITS OUT OF OUR CONTROL as for spec ops also if you read the first post it will tell you how to get them working and NOT ALL OF THE CVARS WORK FOR SPEC OPS EXAMPLE: INFINITE AMMO, INFINITE SPRINT

because like i said in the post you quoted me on bold and underlined some things get reset when we start the game not all of the cvars stick , i also said it dont work, ill edit my last post. as far as infinite ammo for spec ops you really dont need it for spec ops if you use the walk fast backwards and side ways you should be fine to get out of any trouble you get into if you dont know what im talking bout check my post on page 45, thats how i earned my platinum
