Little kiddies asking people to get their account 10 prestige when its the easiest thing in the world. There are quite the list of sources and tutorials but I feel I should post another useless one to refresh your mind. This is an all in one guide for dummies, no pictures sorry.

Step one- Learn your options!
The most important thing in my own opinion is being able to properly modify your file. Few important sites/references to use! Recommend taking a look at this before using alternative methods!

Once you get the basic concept of Hex editing you can do something called the Three Gun Hack. If you want to learn how to do this, there is a MPData file at the link below.

But if you want to learn exactly how he did it compare the MPData to the ones you collect in this tutorial!

Now I do not use that method because there are easier tools to use. I actually prefer using MW2 Leaderboard tool. (currently 1.5) It is the easiest thing ever and most practical. As long as you understand what you were doing when you hex edit its kind of a quick way around finding your offsets. A link to the page below!

Also I suggest comparing what happens before, and after when using this by checking it with a hex editor. You will notice some things and how simple this tool is.

Step two- Modding, Loading, and Enjoying!
I also suggest planning out a method to load up your save files, and editing your own! This is a basic process that even I can explain. For this you will need; Usb, Savefile(1), Savefile(2), a computer, hands, a PS3, and a method to edit your save file!
1) Take your usb and plug it into your PS3
2) Go to split screen in Modern Warfare 2 make a new file and save it to your usb I will call this savefile(1)
3) Make another file and do the same thing I will refer to this as savefile(2)
4) Now you can turn off your ps3, take your usb and bring it to your computer
5) Here comes your method to edit your save file - for savegame(1) I suggest using a hex editor and filling in random numbers to create an error (byte size error)
5 1/2) Use the Leaderboard tool to edit savegame(1) Only need to hex edit to make the error, remember make this LEVEL 70 Anything below 10th prestige!
6) Use the Leaderboard tool to edit savegame(2) do not hex edit it improperly if you prefer that method so you don't get an error when loading!! Save the files back onto your usb, turn off your computer, go back to your ps3.
7) Before starting MW2 go to Saved Files where you can delete old saves. From there go into your usb and copy the two edited files it will overwrite the old ones. You can then delete them from the usb if you feel neccessary.
Now comes the easiest part where you only need your hands! (Ps3 + controller and brains) Well anyways back to split screen load up your first savegame(1) you will recieve an error if correct (Byte size error) That is good but it will kick you out of split screen after that go back into it from there go to prestige and do it!
9) You will recieve the error again but continue back into splitscreen before doing anything hit square to load up the other file savegame(2). After that back out and go online you will have the edited score/kills/deaths/etc you did with the leaderboard tool.
10) If you want to get 10th prestige you can edit your file with the tool listed several times to be level 70 9th prestige. Note: This will not reset, will not keep your hacked score/kills/deaths/etc, and will make you level 1 all over again but atleast you have the 10th prestige. Also play a few games before posting about not having emblems and titles.

Step three- Explore yourself and learn!
Here comes the part of the tutorial where there is no real purpose or things to explain!!! If you do this properly you should really examine how you did it, why you did certain things, and how you use the hex editor. That is also why I added that and not just that leaderboard tool for learning purposes. If you don't do step (10) it wont be permant but you can load the files in the correct sequence every time only a few minute process to be level 70. The file also saves so everything you modify including guns, score, kills, and etc will be saved everytime you load. But if you don't load it will be your original self.


Stuff that you will find unneccessary but I feel it needed to post all this extra gunk. This tutoral is for learning purposes, and to sum things up I take 0% of the credit! In no way do I support the cheating of online games and take no part in doing myself. Please if anyone has any videos/ideas for modifications send me a pm so I can make adjustments. I really don't think this post is useful seeing as you can find the information elsewhere, and most of it is linked to other post.
