there are 3 types of nat
1, open(best conection)
2, moderate (good conection)
3,strict(u can totaly lock the lobby, weard conection)

things that u need

bridge laptop to ps3 with wire. (no wireless)

when u are in the lobby set up wireshack like this
capture, capture filters, udp, ok.
capture, options,start.

u will c all the packets,,, find any game, leave game

backout to the main menu, unplug ur cable from the back of ur ps3, and plug it in, sign in, and u should be strict, stop the packets.

now u can lock totaly any game,,,, but u can mergue with other games,,,, so the best way to hold the lobby is upload youtube vid, and rapidhare file,,, at lest u need 8-9ppl to start the game(like domination, team deatchmatch), so when u have 8 ppl, leave game, the game will start without u, and its already lock it, now any friend need inv u, and that is it,,,,

note: only the people with invitation can join the secession, and sometimes is hard to get into the game,,

yea this will work, just hold the pregame with one youtube vid, or uploading rapidhare file, after u get at least 8 ppl inside, backout, the game is going start without u, join again and this should be lock

inject packets or try to play with the ip settings

i heard bridging the connections charges you like $40 a month, can someone confirm?

I have the same problem as aaryk9876, but i don't understand what you mean by injet packets.
