I have been wanting to record my ps3 for a while, so i thought id post a thread, since many of you have montages/TUT videos. Im looking for a cheap bit of software etc that wont look like i have recorded it with a low quality camera, Please post the name, website and price if you can!

I was 1st in kills and score hiscores about a hour ago and wished i had recorded it lol, O'well!

Get a HD PVR, it's extremely annoying playing in SD if you're used to HD.

An Easycap on Amazon will go anywhere from $11 to $20. Pretty cheap.

If you want to play in HD nothing beats the Hauppauge HD PVR. Any other product is a waste of money. If you don't have a HDTV then go with something else. All of my game videos on youtube are recorded with it set at 8Mbps, it can go up to 13.5 CBR. You can record using component (for HD), composite, or s-video.
