(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've loved sniping on all of the CoDs and do it quite a bit. Buttt... its as if Infinity Ward dont want you to snipe on MW2. (Probs cos of the l33t kids that dominated games on CoD4 with the M40.) They give us 4 Snipers, two of them I dont know how you can call them Snipers - EBR and WA2000. Fair enough, they take two bullets to kill. But you can spam them with a trigger finger and the scopes barely move.
Intervention and the Barret. I get constant Hitmarkers with these guns. It used to be "aim high on the chest for a one shot kill." But this doesnt seem to be the case now. This is so frustrating because all the guns in MW2 have BARELY any recoil what-so-ever and especially when your in S& you need to wait for the next round. You SOMETIMES get a second shot and get the kill. If you miss, your more than likely getting shot across Wasteland by an ACR. Thermal Scopes are so In-accurate which doesnt help. Most of the time they are decent, but if someones far away and you shoot It says your missing and your more likely getting a Hitmarker because its a white 'blur' and the game cant tell the difference from a headshot and a 'leg-shot'. :mad: Even with the Normal scope your getting Hitmarkers alot. Is this because there is some immense Sniper players who can still dominate games, so they had to reduce the damage? If so then why hasnt the Models been reduced in range and damage? I dont know, but I think its pathetic its a SNIPER FFS!

Sorry but I pretty much snipe every game and I don't notice any of this. Yes sometimes I have those games where every shot seems like a hitmarker but that's most likely my connections fault.

The thermal scope is extremely accurate, I can pick anyone off if they have an inch of their body showing with my .50 cal thermal.

Maybe I should use the Barret more :cool:

Yes the Barret is very good, also I highly suggest Sleight of Hand pro as your first perk.

if u want a 1 bullet kill use barret 50 cal with fmj and stopping power this gives u full power hit them in the leg and there dead rep if useful

dont really feel a need for fmj. thats just bullet penetration right?

Yea FMJ is like deep impact doesn't increase the base damage. The stats on the create-a-class are misleading.

You mother ****er! You got my hopes up then :p I was like a kid at Christmas when I say the title I would suggest trying the .50cal as well. I've been sniping since the game came out using the intervention. So earlier I thought I'd give the .50cal a go, and completely raped. If I had the nuke on I would have had 3 in a row without any trouble. That was as soon as I swapped over too! I noticed the scope sway on the .50cal seems to be less too, maybe that's just me noticing things that are not there again.

i agree, they are under powered.

I was trying hc tdm today (even though i hate hc and tdm) to get some titles so I decided Id be a scrub and use my .50 with a silencer and cold blooded.

I was gettin hit markers left and right. Lets be honest, its a .50 cal ... should I really need stopping power on HC for it to be a 1 shot kill?

I didn't think it was even possible to get a hit marker with a sniper in HC. You must be really unlucky. Been smashing mirrors lately by any chance?
