I have never used the intervention but I may start using it, I have mastery on barret 50. cal and I use it quite a lot, ill post again tommorow of what I think of the intervention compared with the barret.
On barret I use thermal always with either FMJ, heartbeat sensor or extended mags.
I've used the intervention for a whole prestige and now im usuing my .50 as my main sniper for the current prestige im on, and It completely depends on preferance and attachments.
For a silencer the winner is definatly the Intervention. I feel like Im getting more 1 shot kills with it on compared to a silenced the .50 cal.
With the acog the Intervention seems more accurate, but if in a squeeze and need to shoot quick without switching to my pistol the .50 cal is definatly better for no scoping.
For FMJ it depends if your shooting through a wall or not. If your in the open the Intervention and .50 cal are even, but if your getting FMJ kills its the .50 cal because it can shoot through the wall more times and faster than the Intervention can.
Using a Heartbeat Sensor is great on both snipers. I use it on my Intervention more though because its farther away from the bottom of the screen.
Thermal scope. This thing will work wonders on a .50 cal. I have no idea why it seems so much better on the .50 than the Intervntion, but when I use it on the Intervention it seems a little lack luster.
And lastly Extended Mags. Their great for any gun but id never use it on either sniper because I reload after every kill with my Intervention(asuming there not 3 guys all next to eachother), and the .50 cal is already a 10 round mag.
So they each have their pros and cons. Use which ever one gets you more kills, cause in the end; Its all about the hunt.
i prefer the intervention, Ive used it ever since i have unlocked it. I like the Barret for close range cause its much easier to no scope but sometimes when i scope and go to shoot someone i accidentally hit the button twice and that's kinda annoying but i don't do it a lot lol. I really just prefer the intervention because i like the feel of bolt action to semi and because i like having only one chance.
