I wanna hear an honest opinion from people who aren't noobs.

alot of ppl consider the intervention more 'pro' because its bolt action.

which means you often have 1 chance, hit and kill or they escape. as you must reload after each shot.

ive used both alot and they are the same damage wise and accuracy wise(both 100% accurate in game stats are wrong).

there are a few differences:
intervention you must reload after each shot
barret has considerable recoil
barret has a large clip(twice the size or near to that of the intervention).
as the barret is semi-auto if you miss you can just fire off more shots and get the kill anyway.
barret you can also spam up close for easy no-scopes.

technically there is not 1 reason to choose the intervention over the barret, the barret has the advantage over the intervention in every way.
i prefer the barret and get kills easier with it, the intervention is a great gun but in my opinion the barret is just a much better choice.

I've used the intervention from day one but I give the .50cal a shot yesterday and its beast! I love being able to get a second shot off, there's sometimes I'd miss a kill because the intervention would not be able to get a second shot off. With the .50cal aswell there may be alot of recoil but it's always in the same direction, if you pull down in the opposite direction just after the shot it has barely any at all.

yh because the recoil is always to the top right of the scope, once you are used to it you can actually time it right by moving the scope down and the recoil moves dead on target for an easy 2nd kill.

Exactly. The intervention takes a lot more skill but if someone with that amount of skill gets their hands on a .50cal, I feel sorry for the other team.

intervention is by far the best

Well is this poll about which gun is better or which one do you like more? I can understand the intervention being well liked, but if this poll is about which gun is better then you have to go with the .50cal. You can not argue with the fact that the Barrett allows you to shoot faster and therefore offers you faster chances to kill. It also has a bigger magazine which offers you more chances to kill. Unless it doesn't shoot straight, which in this game it does, there's no argument. Honestly I wish they would take all sniper rifles out of the game and make these pretty boy snipers actually fight!
